“By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down and wept, when we remembered
Zion.  Upon the willows in the midst of
it we hung our harps.”  (Psalm 137:1-2)

There are seasons where you are
not where you were and long for what you remember.  The Lord has gifted us for a longing for the
eternal presence He gives to those who will be with Him forever.  Meditate upon what the Lord is offering
you.  What He gives is of more worth than
everything else He has created.  He
offers His love and compassion.  He
offers Himself.

You have heard the Gospel message over and over again.  You know that Jesus died for Your sins, but
sometimes life does not go the way you imagined.  What do you do with this?  Do nothing except to wait on the LORD.  Move beyond yourself, come into the presence
of the Lord and begin dwelling in the life as He created it to be lived
forever.  This is the call of Zion which
He has placed in every heart.

Lord Jesus, You have come to save
us and often I think of this as a once and done thing.  You have come to lead the way for us to live
into the salvation You offer, I must walk where You lead.  Lead me, O Lord, that I would go the way You
are leading.  Grant me strength to follow
where You lead.  Remove the hindrances in
me that I would live in the way You know I need to live.  Amen.
