“On the glorious splendor of Your majesty and on Your wonderful works, I will meditate. Men shall speak of the power of Your awesome acts, and I will tell of Your greatness. They shall eagerly utter the memory of Your abundant goodness and will shout joyfully of Your righteousness.” (Psalm 145:5-6)
The faithful speak, act and display the truth of the Lord in their lives in and through all they do. In Him they have the abundant life that comes through salvation. The faithful of the Lord live in the hope that is theirs through what the Lord has done. We all are invited into the life of righteousness that comes to those who follow in the Lord’s footsteps and take up the new life He gives.
Lord, lead me in the way of salvation. Guide me according to Your goodness to see that in You is the hope and glory for all people. Lead me to be one of those whose light shines through all I say and do. Guide me, O Lord, in the way of righteousness that I may walk in the way of Christ my Savior. Help me not so much see in order to believe, but believe and then see that the life You give is eternal.
Lord Jesus, You have walked this earth to show the way, for You are the way, that all who believe would walk in the light of Your countenance. Guide me, O Lord, in the way of righteousness that I may now and always abide in You and You in me. May I be found in Your presence and purpose now and forever. Lead me, my Savior, in the way You know I need to go. Amen.
